Wynn Announces Plans for a New Macau Hotel Amid High Occupancy at Wynn Palace

(AsiaGameHub) –   Wynn Resorts has announced plans to develop a new hotel in Macau, driven by consistently high occupancy rates at its existing Wynn Palace property in Cotai. The upcoming tower will include 432 rooms and is slated for completion in early 2029.

The New Tower Will Add 432 Rooms

The project was revealed concurrently with the company’s Q1 financial results. The new structure will enhance the overall Wynn Palace integrated resort, enabling the brand to accommodate a greater number of guests.

Named The Enclave, the new hotel will feature approximately 432 rooms, increasing Wynn Palace’s total room inventory by 25% and its suite offerings by 50%. It will be situated adjacent to the east entrance of the current Wynn Palace complex, company officials confirmed.

Construction is expected to begin later this year and will require an investment of between $900 and $950 million, according to Wynn Macau. The company aims to finish construction and open The Enclave in early 2029.

Not a “Speculative Bet”

The decision to build The Enclave stems directly from the strong occupancy performance at Wynn Palace. Craig Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts, stated that the project “makes sense” given that Wynn Palace recorded a 99.1% hotel occupancy rate in the first quarter of 2026.

Billings emphasized that this is not a speculative venture but a measured response to demonstrated market demand.

The company forecasts that the new tower could generate up to $400 million in additional annual revenue and $150–175 million in incremental adjusted EBITDA. Billings noted that The Enclave will feature minimal non-EBITDA-contributing amenities and that its close integration with the existing Wynn Palace facility is expected to yield strong operational flow-through.

He described the project as a “no-brainer” for the company’s leadership team.

Separately, Wynn Resorts released its first-quarter financial results, reporting robust growth in revenue and profit, fueled by strong performances in key markets including Las Vegas and Macau.

Earlier reports had indicated that the conflict in Iran might delay the company’s UAE-based project, Wynn Al Marjan Island.
