Anchor tenant of $16.8m coffee shop moving out, but not over rent

SINGAPORE – The anchor tenant of a coffee shop in Tampines that sold for $16.8 million in May will move out by the end of the month, but said it was not over rental hikes.

Indian-Muslim restaurant Saffrons, which operates 10 of the 11 stalls at the coffee shop in Block 201D Tampines Street 21, said that its last day of operations there will be on July 27.
